How do I grow Rossioglossum?

This may not be a beginner's orchid, but I was given it for free and the person who gave it to me insisted that I had it. It requires highland-tropical temperatures. Where do I put it?

I believe that your understanding of their needs requires some correction:

I meant that it grows in tropical countries on high elevations (cloud-forests), so it should be in the 20s*C in the day and 10-15*C at night. The forests it grows in are also semi-evergreen, so the leaves fall during the dry season (our winter).

You are correct Rossioglossum's are not a beginers orchid. That doesn't mean you can't grow it.
Grow it like you would an Oncidium or an Odontoglossum. Intermediate temp. Warm during the day cool at night. Well drained medium and a short rest period after the new growth has completed. Intermediate temp more or less means if you like it so will you orchid . Google how to grow Oncidiums and I believe you and your lovely plant will grow together in the years to come.. :goodluck:
