Hello all...I'm relatively new to the orchid world and I'm really excited to be a new member. Looking forward to some great advice and guidance here. I love gardening in general and especially enjoy anything fragrant.

I'm just a hobbyist, I suppose - not yet super comfortable with these strange words used for identification!! That said, there's nothing more exciting than seeing a new spike or sheath on my orchids...got a couple about ready to show their pretty little faces in the next few days.

I live in Central Florida, on the east coast, and I grow my orchids outdoors year-round in a little hut my hubby built for me in March. They have flourished in it!

Welcome! Don't mind the jealousy at the end of my exclamation point! ;) That's awesome you can grow yours outside all year, can't wait for your pics. Oh the danger in all that space...lol, and how great your hubby built that for you. You've definitely come to the right place!
