This little plant sprouted a bloom at the bottom of my high humidity greenhouse without me noticing earlier. It's a tiny plant from a grower in Tasmania via eBay.

Super color and form!

Someone on facebook commented he knew the Staals and gave a bit of background to the parentage of this flower, named in honour of Mrs Staal. It is always enchanting to hear stories associated with orchids - part of the mystique and charm I think. Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
