V. pachara delight 'sakate' FCC/JOGA
I acquired this plant January of this year from Norman's orchids. I repotted it in a 6" pot to contain the roots and had it outside last spring and summer. I give it kelp extract every two weeks and roots responded really well and threw out a lot of thick roots out of the pot. The color is very deep and shows a deep blue under lights but in natural sunlight it is a very dark purple to indigo. It could have given me more flowers had I gave it more light but I'm having a hard time providing that right now but I am very happy with the results nonetheless!

GREAT!!!
I really envy all of you that can grow those coerulea hybrids. Congratulations!!! Mario |
Norman's orchids are great, I had a chance to visit their open house here in claremont, california. They are one true orchid supplier, during their open house they host educational classes. They kinda educate you how to grow orchids.

What a beauty! I came back from vacation today to see that my Pachara Delight 'Deep Blue' is in spike with a huuugee spike. A result of all the rain that has fallen in the last two weeks i'm sure!
