It is happening. My son's wife is in the hospital, water broke and contractions have started. We are hoping it happens before midnight tonight so the baby will have the same birthday as...

Renee promised she was going to be rational and guess what, I believed her. While I was at work she was already making plans to head to Boise. Sheesh.

:cheer: Renee is on :cloud9: and we are a bit :yawn: as we have not been able to sleep since about 5:45 this morning.

Taylah Monet Feil was born at 5:24 am on Jan 5 (juuuuuust missed my birthday). She was 7 pounds and 2 ounces (someone want to convert that for those on the OTHER system?). Lots of dark hair (from mom's side since we are mostly blondish).

We are headed to Boise today so hope to have :photo: up sometime later today or tomorrow.

I'm happy to hear all went well and that your daughter-in-law got through it okay.

Don't worry about Taylah missing your birthday...it gives you a lifetime of ammunition to tease her.
I know...I was born just 4 hours after one of my mom's aunts and I never heard the end of it! ;)
I now tease my niece who gave birth to her son a few hours shy of my birthday...but made it for my great-aunts! Go figure!!!

Again, congrats to you and your family on the new addition :D Babies are the most wonderful part of life :nod:
