Cymbidium Pendulum
 

I read online that this species was supposed to be the same as cymbidium aloforium or Simulans but when it bloomed the other day instead of red the color was a dark almost black color. Is this common?
How do I show the picture on this forum?

My:twocents: I think Cym Aloforium comes in many different colors, if you have an ID of the plant you can check to see if there is a description of the flower from the seller or even on line.

I have no idea who the original seller was the tag only show the plant name.

These are pics of the blooming CYM. Pendulum. I never knew the blooms could be so dark.
