First Paph! Olivia "TooGooDoo"
I just received my very first paph from Carter and Holmes. It's called Paph. Olivia "TooGooDoo," and is a cross between Paph. niveum and Paph. tonsum.
Supposedly, it's "near blooming size," but it's a teeny weeny little thing! It's so cute, though. It only has one fan, but the leaves are beautiful and mottled. I hope I can get this little guy to bloom. Here's what Carter and Holmes say it might look like: Paph. Olivia 'TooGooDoo' x self: Carter and Holmes Orchids Beautiful! |
The flower looks just like tonsum, which normally takes dominance in flower shape and confer the glossy texture.
I think it will be a nice white glossy flower. Happy Growing! |
Nice!

Just a minor point of clarification about the name. Your plant's name isn't Paph. Olivia "TooGooDoo", since that means it's the exact clone "TooGooDoo".
Yours will possibly look similar, but there could also be significant variation from the parent clone. If you were to ever sell, trade, or breed with it, calling it "TooGooDoo" would be misleading. Consider calling it Paph. Olivia, Paph. Oliva "TooGooDoo" x self, or give it your own personal clonal name (perfectly acceptable to do that). |

Should be pretty, please do share when it blooms. :)

Thanks! I most certainly will. It might be a while though--it's such a tiny little thing
