I bought this plant several months ago, and it started throwing out a flower spike a few weeks after I got it. I'm very happy with it, although the photo isn't the best as I had to take it not long after dawn.

Nice looking alba. I wish I could smell it!

I always forget to smell my orchids because I'm so used to them not having any event, but I read a comment about this species having a wonderful aroma. And it's true, it has a beautiful smell, like a rose with vanilla overtones.

That's a great-looking alba variety of this species.

I bought a couple of walkerianas recently, in bloom and their fragrance was so strong it perfumed my patio.
Then I understood why the vendor said he could never have enough of them.
