Sansai blue vanda

This plant was a great bloomer , but once it finished bloomin , i cut the spike down and moved it out to my new greenhouse , i have all panels sprayed with frosted paint to dull down lighting but i cant figure why my vanda leaves within a week turned yellow ,white . Roots are healthy too , i thought it looked sunburnt , is this what you think
Thanks

That does look like sunburn to me ...

I thought so , i cleaned up some scissors and proceeded to cut off some of the burnt leaves , i never thought vanda was so sensitive , it was only morning sun .

Even for vandas, relocation should be graduated. Is it summer over there? On any account, not all vandas are the same, particularly in regards to lighting requirements and tolerance.

Yes ,although here has been cooler than usual , although when i put it out it had gone from 21 c to 34 in the greenhouse , learning expirience for me i guess

It happens, I still burn some if mine, sometimes its just a matter of trial and error finding that sweet-spot in the GH.

Even if I received Vandas from Florida by mail, I do not assume they were given bright lights or direct sun....I still give it gradual acclimation light in my care and let it get accustomed to my environment in terms of light, temperature, humidity and water.
Its good you immediately dealt with the sunburn or else fungi or bacteria infestation might set in.

its a Sensai Blue=one major factor is the coerulea parent and they can tolerate cooler temps and lower lighting....since it is a hybrid it is hardy and will survive that sunburn= it is a healthy plant just by looking at the roots; it is robust and pencil thick.
