Ok it's mostly alive for now. I've had trouble with this one this year. Last year it did fine, this year it started to go down very fast. So I un-potted it cut all the dead roots off, put it in new bark mix with a little charcoal gave it a good misting placed the whole thing in a poly bag placed her in a north window where she won't get direct sun. And let her be.Till some life started to show.. Yesterday I opened the bag to see a new growth on her. So she's alive. :D Today she is still in the bag, but it's open at the top. to let in a little fresh air. I plan to keep her in the mini. greenhouse for another few weeks then bring her out to join her sister Pot. Marlene Lunquist 'Orange Delight' in a shadier spot . Marlene is doing just fine putting out new growth and may bloom for me next year..Attachment 102141

I can feel you love her! Love makes all good things possible. All the Toshies are fun.....I used to have a yellow one with merlot colored center tipped petals and red lip.....but she died.:(

Toshie Aoki update she's still with me. and putting out new roots and a small new growth. Is out of the bag and on the windowsill... Getting a little sun.. James L.
