Any idea what the name of this desert dwelling oncidium is?

I bought this desert dwelling oncidium some years ago, while on vacation. I believe it was a seedling then, and is finally in bloom. A couple weeks ago I jumped out of my seat when I noticed it had spiked. Last Year was a particularly good year for it. It nearly doubled in size.
I did some initial research on it when I first brought it home. But here, years later I can't remember its name or where it came from. I would appreciate it if one of you knowledgable folks could help me out. Thank you! |
I'd guess Zelenkoa (formerly Oncidium) onusta, though it's been used a bit as a hybrid parent and some of its progeny might bear a close resemblance. Can you post a photo or two of vegetation and growth habit?

Thanks gNathaniel and trini kjelds. I think you are both right. Onustum rings a bell.

Any idea why the petals and lip would be curled?
