Ordering from Orchidview?
Someones going to have to tell me where to put this thread, I think it's in the right place but I'm not sure.
Two Sundays ago, I emailed Katherine about placing an order but I never got a response. I am hesitant to send another email because I do not know whether this is the correct way to go about placing an order. I thought I'd ask so that I'll get response from those who have experience with the Nortons and dispel my worries that I will start spamming their inboxes if that's not the correct way to go about this. Thanks in advance. |
I thought they retired last year. I could be wrong though. You might have better luck calling them.

Despite age, HP & Katherine get around a lot - shows, society meetings, etc. (They're some of the nicest folks I've ever met, too). Or...they might have just missed the email.
I am not a very patient person either, so I'd call. |

Early last summer (2013) the Nortons announced that they were retiring from the orchid business and were selling off their inventory. Haven't heard of them selling at any orchid shows recently which they did often. Tho they may still attend.
Katherine was always really good at responding to emails so it is possible they no longer check that account if the business is indeed closed. Calling may be the only way to know for certain if they are still selling or have anything left for sale. |
