I'm sorry, I don't know what the problem might be ... I will contact admin about it. Are you getting any error message? |
Problem uploading images to Gallery
Thank you for the reply Sonya, No error messages only when I go to Explore images on my computer, find that when I open a folder that there appears to be no images in the folder. .....:(
When I go to change the file type below browser window find I am unable to change file type also? When uploading images to a post no problem??? ..... Found that an image taken off the web put in same folder will appear & can be uploaded though not what I want. Am using GIMP image editor to manipulate images suitable for web, when I get time will try the same images in photoshop to see if it is a program problem???? cheers allan ....................................... |

Managed to upload an image which was subsequently rejected with an error message saying this file type is not supported?
Look at the thumbnail title in this image ? this is what appeared when I uploaded the only file that this software recognised...:( The title did not have any underscore or forward slash characters in it & it is only a jpg file. |
I think something in Linux is confusing this. I don't know what as I don't know Linux at all, all I do know is it's file system is very different to that of a windows PC. I guess the forum software doesn't know how to understand the way the file names are stored on it.
I'm not sure I can be much help, except that I'll email someone I know who uses Linux and see if he's ever come across anything like this. |
Ok, the question comes back to ask, what browser are you using? Can you try a different browser to see if it is related to that?
Someone has tested for me using Chrome and Linux and it worked fine with that. Different version of Linux but he thinks it's more likely to be the browser than the version of Linux. |
Thank you WhiteRabbit, tried Chrome & it worked while Firefox has the problem?
Still got an error message saying that this flie type was not supported though looks like the images & coments were accepted? cheers allan :D |
That Vanda is amazing! Nice blooms all around. What do you have that potted in?
