Here is a single pbulb that snapped off a larger group of pbulbs when I was repotting

I want to show you how resilient orchids are and how much energy is left in even the most damaged/spent pbulbs. Rescue is not for everyone but some of you might try this. A few months back I posted a thread on making rescue baskets out of wire and using moss to create a humid environment to try and coax some growth out of these pbulbs as a last resort. Here is what has transpired since then. This pbulb had no roots at all when I put it in here.

That's great!!

Thank you all. It continues to grow more roots and I hope pushes a bud pretty soon.

They grow so slowly that many people give up on them. Thanks for showing us.

I just wish more novices would listen to the advice, of "keeping it simple" by providing humidity and then LEAVE IT ALONE! No need for teas or washes or home made brews. This can work for all genera.
