Neofinetia haul from Florapeculia
I finally managed to get my hands on a few plants I really wanted for some time, went to visit Terry from Florapeculia (Ontario, Canada). Great visit (again!), he showed me some of his amazing collector plants :bowing and I came back with the 2 plants he was holding for me...
Did I saw 2 plants, Oops! I think I got 3 extra but no one will notice at home :evil: back left: Akebono - - back right: Gekkeikan center: Akogare front left: Seiounishiki - - front right: Fuji-Nishiki https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3913/...893bf1d4_b.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3897/...a114caf0_b.jpg |
Wow~ I'm so jealous!
I'm in love with the two on the right. I will have to see if they ship to US. I hope these are not super duper expensive? |
NYC, I don't think Terry ships to the US (I may be wrong), but Gekkeikan and Fuji-Nishiki can be found at the main US Neo sellers. Gekkeikan is no often seen for sale, but occasionally I saw it at Seed-engei and OL. NWO had some not long ago as well ;) It is not a pricy one. I think I remember reading it is a mutation of Gojo-Fukurin.
As for Fuji-Nishiki, it is the most expensive of the bunch... but so worth it! |
those plants look amazing!! :D really stunning quality! Happy growing!

Thank you. I'll check other sources then.
I looked at the vendor's website (the guy you got yours from) and the price range was quite something, but I was sort of ready hahaha |
Fantastic looking plants! Great haul!!!

Wow, they are beautiful! You have great taste!!

Hi there, Florapeculia does ship to US and other countries. I've bought a few from him too. Great vendor!

Good to know!
---------- Post added at 09:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:47 PM ---------- By the way, are the yellow leafed ones harder to grow compared to the "regular" type? I know they need different light to maintain the beautiful foliage, but are they weaker plants? just want to know as much as I can before dropping serious amount of money on a plant. :) |
