Plant is mounted and difficult to get a good angle on the flowers. Some bus blast but thankfully still a few blooms. Can anyone tell me why? Could it be the buds were burnt by too much sun?

There are like two Keikis tog with this plant and one of them is also flowering.

Very nice, healthy looking plant debrasoon. I have this plant too. It bloomed last Fall for me. It is growing leaves and roots. I wish it would start growing keiki, but so far no signs. Thanks for sharing.

Nice plant! Although it's called alba, the presence of slight purple in lip deems it albescence... The buds blasts sometimes due to temperature changes, presence of ethylene gas from rotting fruits, and insect damage. Plus other factors that we may not know... It is disheartening when it happens :(... But as long as plant is healthy, it's still a blessing

Thanks guys. Some more opening up today and a close up of the shot of the Keiki and it's bud. Unfortunately I think the second inflorescence from the main plant won't make it. I wonder could it also be caused by my over aggressive fungal treatment ? Was trying to get rid of the black spot fungus on some of the leaves. The bud blast I mean.

Hi debrasoon, I learned the hard way when I sprayed Physan 20 onto my spiking Neofinetia, the spikes shriveled within the next day. If a plant has a problem and it is spiking, I am very careful not to get any chemical onto the flower spike. Or I sacrifice the spike and spray away.

Matt is right... Definitely spraying any chemicals on spikes or plant can affect it's blooming. I never spray flower spikes for that reason
