My orchids
I grow my orchids outdoors all year round. Most of them are cattleyas, dendrobiums and vandas.
In cold days, some protection should be given to prevent damage. http://blog-imgs-66.fc2.com/p/h/e/ph...90024578cf.jpg http://blog-imgs-66.fc2.com/p/h/e/ph...90027414ad.jpg http://blog-imgs-66.fc2.com/p/h/e/ph...9002214240.jpg http://blog-imgs-66.fc2.com/p/h/e/ph...9002515afa.jpg http://blog-imgs-66.fc2.com/p/h/e/ph...90022113b6.jpg |

I lived in Taiwan for around three weeks in the city of Tai Chung. I know I have spelled it wrong. Please forgive. The warm rains there were lovely, and constant. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

I have heard that not only is Taiwan beautiful, but the people are lovely and very friendly.
You have a very serious collection! Congratulations! |

You have a huge collection, but I think you are growing them well because the air in Taiwan is much more humid (wet). Where I live in Africa, it is very dry and my orchids struggle because of a lack of humidity. I also notice that you grow your plants close together. I try not too grow individual plants too closer whereby they touch because of the fear of spreading viruses. Thank you for sharing your collect for us to see.
