Catasetum lindleyanum

I have been assembling a presentation about Catasetum with the most fantastic lips. I have found Ctsm hillsii and Ctsm rooseveltii but I need a good image of Ctsm lindleyanum from Colombia. There are no pictures on the Colombia OS sites or in the usual sources. I did find the type sheet from the website of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew but that is a bit too sketchy for a presentation. Does anyone have the species or a good picture of it? george :)

Those are very, very difficult to come across in the hobby.

Have you considered using photos of Catasetum macrocarpum, Catasetum macroglossum, Catasetum sanguineum, Catasetum globiflorum, Catasetum gardneri, or Catasetum ochraceum instead?

:bump:

I've moved this to the Catasetum section in the hope someone here has more idea than in the beginner section.

Thank you very much, I have all of those but the lips are not in the class with Ctsm lindleyanum. I have not found anyone who has the species, even the British national holder of the Catasetinae collection. still hoping maybe will hear from Colombian vendors whom I have emailed.

Thank you. I am a new comer to Orchid Board and still learning. I hope to find someone who has the species.

I'm guessing you've probably done your talk by now? Hope it went well!

If you've not done it yet... gnomus is a favourite of mine. And I guess you probably had something like barbatum?
