Addicted Philip brown leaf tip
1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone,
I have recently found this forum and, as a new keen orchid grower, I am thrilled with the information I can find here! I am wondering whether you could advise on what happens to my addicted Philip paph, as one of the older leaves has turned yellowish with a brown-red tip. I have a new growth on this plant and I really hope this is not something serious, as I am looking forward to see it flower. I grow it in east windowsill, on the warm side, water once a week and fertilise once a month. Any advise please? |
That could be normal leaf senescence, but how fresh is the medium?

It's in graded bark and coconut fibre chips. I repotted it 7 months ago

Looks like the oldest leaf is just dieing off.

When in doubt, check the roots.
