Vandas grown in vases with water beads
 

Hello everybody !

I have 3 vandas since the beginning of last autumn (some 6-7 months). The summer is coming and my south facing window and the full sun starts to be too strong for them. They really don't have enough humidity and I don't have the time to water them every day. They are in glass vases at the moment and I'm thinking of putting water beads inside to keep the moisture level up.

Did anybody else ever thought of this or has done this ? I found some non toxic polymers, if anybody is worrying about this.
