Some carnivore plant pics
 
Hi all, I grow many carnivores plants. I am going though my phone, so these are not all current pics, and some of these are not my pics, but I will let you know which ones arnt.

The first 3 are Fred p. Pics, and the 4th is mike wang's picture. Rest are mine

Beautiful! I have hardy pitcher plants that I got from a bog when we lived in Ontario. I brought them with us when we moved here and I have been hoping to come across another kind of hardy pitcher plant. The flowers are amazing!

Just about any Sarracenia is going to be hardy enough to keep outdoors in zone 7b. I have a varied collection that I keep outdoors, above ground in unprotected half barrels that survived this insane winter in my 6b area. I am VERY interested in a purpurea with location data from an area colder than where I am. Any interest in a trade?

Oops, sorry I just realized you're in Canada. Don't want the hassle of permits and such. Sorry!

Yes, anything over the border is a pain in the butt. I'm not sure what the name of mine is but It is purplish with burgundy flowers and I think the area that I dug it in would be about zone 4 to 5. It was fairly far North, near Huntsville.

That sounds right to me. They are pretty tough and the flowers are amazing. I cover them over for the winter here, just so they don't get too hammered by the rains.

I bought some resin basins and filled them with peat and carnivorous plants as well as a couple of strawberry plants to help attract insects in separate pots within the pot.

I'll post a pic if and when they look cool.
