Bulbophyllum ambrosia

This Bulbo grew a bunch during the last year but this is the first bloom, and surprisingly at this time, most of my other Bulbos bloom from summer till winter time. Very cute, I have it mounted on cork slab, misting very often, every day or 2, fertilize often too. Bright shade. I see more spikes pushing through.

Cute!

Gorgeous! Does it smell as good as I have heard it does?

Lovely!, I have a small, three bulb division of this just settling itsself onto a mount. Can't wait for it to flower, especially if it's as pretty as yours!.

I'm with nikkik, is it fragrant?, I have a 'thing' for fragrant orchids, so I purchased this bulbo on reports of its' lovely smell.

Thanks nikkik, I really wish to be able t confirm the scent, but I came back from Vegas with horrible sore throat and flue, and my nose is so stuffed that I can not even smell what I eat:-))) I did try to sniff, nothing, will test the smell on the next bloom, I see more spikes coming:-)

I hope you feel better. Sounds like you had a great time! You'll have to keep us updated on the scent once you're able to get a good sniff.
