I had noo luck with this plant. It really wouldn't cooperate >.<
Great job! |
I thought I was losing my Spath Grape Swirl. I finally moved it to hydro balls in a regular pottery pot, and watered only with dechlorinated water with some kelp in it. It has doubled in size. I haven't had a bloom yet. How big do they get? This would do well in a well drained vivarium or terrarium, because it seems to need more humidity than I was formerly giving it.

I potted my own plant in Miracle Gro potting soil that has the acrylimide water-holding gel particles in it. Kept in on the deck in full sun and watered it like made all summer. It's wintering in the greenhouse, and is doing great.

I'm fortunate in that I'm able to grow mine in the ground year-round. I amend my sandy soil with the miracle grow moisture control and mulch top. I have them in a place where they get dappled sun most of the day - they dont do well in full sun here - gets toooo hot. They get watered when the sprinklers come on. They do die back sometimes in winter but come back bigger and prettier in the spring. I've gotten mine from the BB stores. Love these plants!!
