Hello from Nebraska!
 

Hi!
I'm Heather and I'm in Omaha, Nebraska. I've had two orchids in the past that I was given as gifts and managed to keep them alive for a year before killing them.

After research I figured my issue was probably the fact that I never thought to feed them. Oops!

Yesterday I went to the Omaha orchid show and while I could have easily spent $100's I managed to restrain myself and only came home with two.

I have pictures of them and the butterwort I also got on my blog squareonebeads.blogspot.com if anyone wants to see. I did upload the images to this board but the butterwort isn't there since it isn't an orchid.

A little about me personally, I'm a professional artist and my main focus is hand dyed yarn which I sell online, at shows, and to yarn stores. I also make jewelry, paint, and teach art classes.

I have two dogs, two rabbits, two lineated parakeets, two bearded dragons, and one husband (I don't feel I have to have everything in pairs).

So that is me. I'm sure you'll be seeing more of me around here. :hello
