Found this in a big garden, in a plastic bag with some peat.
One flower dried out in some days, but the other one opened!
The pant is in middle bark (1 cm - 0.4/0.5 inch), some lava rock and a bit of sphagnum moss. Started to water when the flower began to open because pseudobulb was shrivelled and roots (when I planted they where just 2 cm - 1 inch long) should be long enough.
This is my very first Pleione.

That is a really pretty one!
I have just gotten into these as I saw one for sale and thought these would be fun to grow. Unfortunately, these are very difficult to find in the US. Here are two very good websites to help you care for your new Pleione. :)

Really lovely. I love Pleiones, they are so rewarding each spring when they flower, and when grown well can double each year.

Nice flower :) I just love Pleiones :blushing:

Do not start watering to early or the roots will rot and die.
Start with watering when flowers dry out and the leaves start to grow ;)
Good luck! ;)

Pleione today. Flowers died and leaves begun to grow. The basis of the sprout is getting bigger and bigger to form the new pseudoblubs. Also 1 bulbil is growing on the top of the old growth.

Ruler is in centimeters (2.5 cm = 1 inch)
