Old Phal baldens treasure

I have had this plant for about 10 years and it has bloomed reliably for me every year. The last 2 years the blooms have developed a color break and I suspected a virus. This year it grew a nice spike, 7 buds and I was waiting to see what the blooms were going to do this year. To my surprise all of the buds blasted!
It has been hanging in the same east facing window, nothing has changed in culture. The plant itself still looks as good as ever! So where do I go from here? It is a large plant and I could use the space but I don't want to toss it if it has any chance of blooming again even with the color break. What would you advise? Thanks ....Jean

I would hold on to it and see what it does the next bloom. Maybe it had a color break due to something else if it has never done that before. If you have had it that long is there any reason it would have developed it. Like used unsterilized tools, I would think that would mean it got the virus from your other plants. If none of your other plants have a virus I would say that is a slim chance. Maybe your buds blasted due to low humidity.
