Firefly
This is a back cross to Neofinetia from ascf Twinkle, hence the yellowish color. It retained the neo scent but is no larger than your standard sized neo, which makes sense since twinkle is no larger either. This is the first blooming of this plant and I'm quite pleased- in person the flower has what I'd consider a highly desirable shape. The spur is very long for a hybrid but for 3/4 neo it makes sense. The spur reflexes several times before the flower opens, which I thought odd.
Also shown is my newest euphorbia obessa. It's another girl but is so tiny! http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/23/e6a6ysuq.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/23/ubesutab.jpg The firefly is from Ray's store (thanks for offering good stuff, Ray!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Ooooooo. Me likey! I have a few stone rocks next to my neos too. Is this one in s/h too?
|
Hello Joy! The euphorbia isn't actually part of the living rock group but that's splitting hairs! They look like funny rocks for sure.
No sh for this guy. Ray grew it in Eco web on an air cone and well when they grow in ecoweb you're kind of committed to this method! Lol. The roots crawl into the very fine webbing and won't be coming out any time soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Cute!

I just got one of these from Ray. After seeing yours, I'm even more excited!

Beautiful Ryan! Would you mind posting a picture of the whole plant and roots in the ecoweb Ryan?

I love the color...very nice Ryan :)

Lovely flower!

Love it!

Considering that it is 3/4 Neo, flower segments are nice and wide for this cross.
