Hello all. Hank here from Mechanicsville Virginia.
I have been around 2 Phals for 5 or so years that my wife took care of. Bloomed only once in that time. She killed one.
About 18 months ago, I decided to try my hand at killing the other. Learned what I could and charged it.
It did not take long and I was bit by the bug. I now have about 25 plants and rearranged my life to accommodate them.
I look forward to picking your brain and just maybe I could add a little. :idea:

Welcome Hank to OB. You better let your wife know there is no recovery from orchiditis. When you start referring to one of your plants that has a woman's name, friends may look at you kind of strangely :rofl: Lots of information and good advice here. These members are the best!

PS I almost forgot to add that, Birthday, Anniversary, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Watching a few for a Sick Friend Day, seems to allow some more orchids to come live at your house :evil: or "I saw it and thought of You!"
