Beallara's newest pseudobulb detached from plant?!

This Beallara Mathias Glamour is my first orchid that isn't a phalaenopsis and so far it's not going so great. When I was repotting it the newest pseudobulb fell off the plant. Will the main plant be able to grow pseudobulbs now? There are about 6 pbulbs on the main plant and the one that fell off doesn't have any roots to speak of, but it looks like it's trying to grow some. I've ordered some seaweed liquid that I read is supposed to help them grow roots. I staked it up in a small clay pot with sphagnum moss and perlite and have been misting the top with plain water daily. Oh, and it has a flower spike which continues to grow a little every day. The main plant also has a flower spike that was in bloom but since the new pbulb fell off all the flowers have died away. I'm clueless and I need advice, I don't want to kill these guys, please help me out. :dunno:

The "main" plant can still grow, but the new growth falling off may indicate a problem.

How do the roots look?

Rather than misting, I'd suggest using a skewer to determine when the media is approaching dry, and then watering thoroughly.

I would say to stick the base of the bulb in perlite and leep it watered. If it is trying to grow roots then it has those little green bumps. I have one just like this. It is a new bulb that came off. I stuck it to a stake with an orchid clip on a stake, in a mix of perlite and spanish moss. It is still going to take 5 years to get anywhere, but that is the fun of growing plants.

So, I tried to get that pbulb that fell off to grow roots, but no luck. I actually still have the mother plant but it's not looking so good, I found a new growth that it started but it hasn't grown any more as far as I can tell. The pseudobulbs are very shriveled. I just hate to throw away orchids, well, I've actually only ever thrown away one but I hated to do it.. :(

Sorry, I don't know anything about this plant (at all), but all I have to say is I have underestimated how much Oncidiums like water, in fact I think I still am. What do mom's roots look like? Do you think maybe it's a watering thing?

Shriveled bulbs mean the plant is using those resources stored in the bulbs. It could be a root or watering issue. Hard to say if we cannot see the roots. Can you post a pic?
