My Valentine's Day Orchid
 

Hello everyone! My partner got me a lovely pale yellow phal orchid for Valentine's Day. It is from Silver Vase, and after checking there website it's name is 'Miss Saigon'. I checked the roots and all are very bright green but it does need to dry out a bit before it's next watering. Also the pink pot is decorative the orchid itself is in a clear plastic pot in bark mix. Just thought I would share my new addition. :)

If only my girlfriend got me that 0.o

Hubs gave me an orchid from Silver Vase for V-Day too :D According to their site, it's name is "Polaris."

Beautiful! It looks like a dead ringer for my pale yellow what I would term 'mini' phal. The minis don't seem to do as well for me as the standard size phals, but this one is always a good bloomer for me.

This time I was clever enough to check the roots and found a sphagnum pot in the middle of that bigger one. :evil:

My boyfriend said I had enough orchids (40) so I didn't get orchids this Valentines *crying*

The nerve of the guy! Just who does he think he is? You never have 'enough'! :tapfoot:
