Slc. Christmas Rose

This orchid is free flowering, giving out lots of buds in 1 psuedobulb, and the flowers are quite large relative to the plant size. It also has a very nice name.

Very pretty! I've been hearing good things about that hybrid. I might need to put it on my wish list.

This plant decided to re-bloom after 1 year, with 4 flowering buds.

I am wondering if your plant is really Ctt. Doris and Byron 'Christmas Rose'. There is a hybrid called Christmas Rose but it was registered back in 1958. My Ctt. Doris and Byron 'Christmas Rose' looks pretty much exactly like yours and is blooming at this time. Even the leaves of the plant look the same shape. I've attached a picture of it in bloom when I got it. It is currently in bloom with 6 blooms but since I grow it rather cool, it is a somewhat different colour when it blooms for me, (much paler). This photo was how I bought it. It's known for being a robust reliable bloomer which mine is.

Nice plant! The weather here has been rather cool the past few months, going down to about 23 degree celsius. ( I know, it's not considered cool in your country), hence the plant is putting out flower spikes!
And the fragrance is very nice too.
