Clear syrup on dendrobium.
 

I was looking at my dendrobium/phal plant tonight and it had clear droplets on the leaf and cane. Two on the leaf and one on the cane. It reminded me of clear corn syrup and it was sticky. No sign of bugs or anything. Does anyone have a clue what this might be?

Orchids make a sweet sap when happy.
Taste it. It's good.
And if the orchid has a fragrance, and the sap is near the flower it'll taste how it smells.

I could probably sweeten my coffee with all the honeydew my Brassavola nodosa is currently producing!

Someone should make orchid candy. :)
