Laelia tenebrosa 'Iza'
 

This is a very large L. tenebrosa flower, as wide as 8". It normally has flat sepals, but this year the edges curled back.

Everyone stood and stared at it yesterday night at our orchid society meeting, Kim. There was a few other tenebrosas there looking like dwarf.

I think it was the excessive hot week we had when it opened. It normally slightly curls, but not that much. Take a look at how it looks like in this photo taken last year:
