Two Very Different Tolumnia siblings

Let me try this...so the cross is (Potpouri x Jairak Rainbow) x (Maliwan x Golden Sunset)

It is amazing how genetic mix and match can do! :D

The white one has large flowers for tolumnia.

These are also from Ten Shin Garden from a local show. He had a dozen of these and I was amazed by how different they all looked, but all came from the same grex. There were reds, yellows, spotty, and white.

I dumped out all my tolumnia collection last year, and here I am starting again!

at least these are not in tiny clay pots, but I potted them up in large ones myself so I don't have to stress over watering as much, which was the main reason I tossed all my tolly collection last year.

This illustrates exactly why it can be so difficult to give names to NOID plants.

Not in the right forum. Tolumnia are definitely not pleurothallids.

Oops!

I had no idea, I just clicked on the miniature option and just went on from there without realizing it also said pleurothalids. lol

Can someone move this else where? ;)

Those are both beauties! I might give them a try later when my economic situation improves. I have always liked them.

Wonderful example of variation within a hybrid and I like the comment about finding names for noids.
