I have a Brascidostele Gilded Tower and all flowers have fallen down recently. I was wondering if there is any (remote) chance to get a new plant from the spike. I know it's a phalaenopsis thing, but well, just wanted to ask now that the spike is nice and green!

also, I've seen the Brascidostele is a cross from Odontoglossum and Brassidium. In terms of propagation, which of the 2 species should be considered?

No, it won't get a keiki (baby plant) on the spike. Some spikes remain green for a long time after flowers have dropped.

This is an Oncidium alliance intergeneric hybrid of Brassia, Oncidium, and Rhynchostele. Most Onc alliance intergenerics do well with intermediate temps, lightly moist potting media, moderate light.
