Spring and summer, are fast approaching!

Ok! So with my collection as it stands, I could stand to let some of my plants go outside in the summer. There are some that love to go outside... or so I've heard! I live in zone 5b! Here's a small list! Is it a good idea?

3 den. Phals.- No ID, 1 mounted, 2 potted
Vanda Denisoniana, currently in glass fishbowl (vase)
Miltassia Hybrid: Peloric, possibly Royal Robe

I'm asking because I tried to put my succulents, a huge aloe, and echeveria (something or other), but they didn't fair well. They're still recovering!
It does get pretty humid some days, but with temps in the lower 90's to low Hundies. I'm concerned about the heat!
Any thoughts?

Hello Jimmy, I have several orchids and I put all of them outside. Because Spring is variable here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, I keep mine in a screen-in porch to acclimate the plants and "harden-off". When there is no longer the possibility of frost (tomato planting weather) they all spend the summer outside on my deck where they get lots of weather but bright, in direct light. For the three months they live outside, they grow very well.
