Thanks, Ron as always for sharing some amazing shots of natural gems! I have seen the coralroot orchid while camping in the southern Montana near Idaho border. It was just a single flower stalk growing in the midst of lowland grass ( well, they looked like grass everywhere lol). I accidentally spotted it while looking for a spot for personal business in the morning in the woods. hahaha The Fairy Slipper orchid is so rightly named whoever did so. |
