Hi all,

Was searching randomly for stuff on the net on the local website here in Switzerland last weekend. And when I type Orchideen, there's not much of a choice except for a couple of NoID phal being listed except for one that caught my eye that happen to be around 30 mins with the public transport. To make story short, I went to pick it up yesterday and to my surprise it was actually blooming more than 20 and it's really small lol ( forgetting pictures does magnified).

Anyhow, does anyone know how to care for it? It's got so many roots and all I did today was spray abit on the roots today.

Can't help with the culture tho ...

Cool to hot growing crawling mini from Mexico/Nicaragua. Regarding light - some say partial shade, some provide light like for Cattleya, I do provide to mine pretty much Cattleya light and I know grower here in Florida having it in strong light with some direct afternoon sun growing like crazy! Summer - keep it moist, mist often, fertilize weakly weekly. Winter - let dry between waterings - recommended to mist every 2-3 days and soaking like every 2 weeks. Fertilize 1x month in the winter. Mine is starting to create buds now, I think, I see yellow things starting to grow:-)
It is best mounted, I have one mounted flat on cork and one hanging on tree fern, both growing very well.

I got a question. Is it ok to mist entire plant including the foliage and the flowers? I took a closer look today and realize that it's not entirely in the pot and look like it have been train to making it look bushier lol. And to really mist the meaning i really have to get under it to make sure that they are not entirely dry.

I was thinking about mounting my plant but the guy who i bought my plant from was saying should I choose to repot. I should use something like a a shallow pot…

I have a 3 of NoID phal with buds forming am still looking forward to them opening.

Shinnok I like them mounted, but it is just a preference, I like many things mounted, and especially crawling species like this one is! I do spray or water the entire plant, as a matter of the fact, when I do soak once a week, it is submerge in the water for minutes. However if your plant is blooming, I would not soak, I would only mist it very good.
