C. intermedia
The species blooms while the pseudobulbs mature. The major flowering season is spring and autumn here.
In winter, the flowers usually have poorer shape and smaller size. |
Hi Pheli!
Nice intermedia alba! This brazilian beauty cames from southeastern (lean petals, more 'opened' shape) and south (larger petals, more 'closed' shape) regions. It's very easy to grow and bloom (well, at least here!). Today there are lots and lots of varieties, take a look in Carlos Gomes web site (www.orquidariocarlosgomes.com). He can export to US, but I don't know about Taiwan; click on 'contato', then fill 'seu nome' (your name), 'seu e-mail' (your e-mail) and 'sua mensagem' (your message) and talks with him (his english is OK) |
WOW!

Thanks, Frederico.
There are so many great laelias and cattleyas on this website, and the prices are also attractive! |
Thanks for the link. Myself has ordered a Cattleya intermedia Orlata from Germany. We here in Sweden have started our own project with just this plant.
