Edges of Phal leaves turning white
 

Hi all! I recently acquired a lovely phal. that was just finishing it's bloom cycle. All the blooms have fallen off and the spikes are beginning to dry out. I've noticed that all the leaves are turning white around the edges! The root system is fine so I'm curious if anyone has ever seen this? It's not the whole leaf turning white, just the edges! Any ideas?

Pictures would be a great help....I am curious what 'white around the edges' you mean....
unless its got variegated leaves.
