Hi ,
I have just separated the plants form community pot of cattleya nobilar'amaliae' x cattleya nobilar'blush' today. This is what I did soak the pot with one drop of HB101 and one quarter tea spoon of a liquid fertiliser left for an hour, separated clean the dead roots, then took two inch block of tree fern slice in the middle and sandwich the seedling roots with a thread of spagnum moss with bird cage wire tie hang them under bright light Note: bought during 2012 Red Land show for U.S.$150,the bulbs are well developed and got about 20 plants. veekay |
Those are really healthy looking little plants. And you're going to have quite a beautiful collection of this species. It will be interesting to see the variations in flowers among the siblings.
And you're a lot braver than I am. For that price I would not have dared purchase such fragile little seedlings. Good luck with your babies! Steve |
Beautiful looking plants. Who did you buy these from?
