Some November Blooms
3 Attachment(s)
The lighting is a little uneven -- sunlight through a glass brick wall, so there is some dappled shadow here and there. L to R, the first plant is Camarotis philippinense, a first bloom seedling. Second is Den. Angel 'Kibi Smile' and third is Paph. Incagold 'Leny' X Pittsburg # 91. The paph colour is actually quite a bright yellow, not bronze as it appears here, almost always in bloom with flowers that last for months.
This is the first time I've had to resize photos so I hope it works! Thanks for looking, Shirley  |
Great photos Shirley, but first two were pretty small. Last one (Paph) was just about right.

Thanks for letting me know Ross. The two that were too small were the ones that I had to resize so I guess I selected the wrong size.

Beautiful blooms Shirley - I've been looking forward to seeing these, and they didn't disappoint. That's a great Paph - but I think I like the colours of the Camarotis best.
Thanks for sharing these! |

The blooms are all lovely  |
Very nice flowers. The flowers in the first photo look very similar to those of Vanda lamellata. Are they fragrant?

LOvely, Shirley. The Dendro is so charming.

by 1 in. There is a quite pleasant fragrance during the morning but not strong. This is still a small plant, of course, and I believe it can get quite large in maturity. I understand that a synonym is Micropera but when I found a picture of Micropera philippinense I didn't think it looked the same at all! Shirley :) |
All beauties for sure :D
