Hello! I am new to the board ~ I love orchids and have been growing them a few years now. I have different kinds that bloom at different times, which I like. Right now one of my Dens is reblooming for the first time and I have a phal blooming. I have about 20 total.. Dendrobiums, Phals, Oncidiums, Cattleya's, and a Vanda! Excited to join the board. :D

I wish I had planned my orchid purchases better for blooming. That is really smart. Welcome and very glad to have you!

Welcome to the Orchid Board! As Leafmite indicated earlier, I also wish I purchased orchids so that there is a plant blooming every season. Good advice! I encourage you to consider adding a couple of Neofinetia falcata orchids to your grow list. They are the easiest Vanda to grow. Check out the sub forum Vanda Alliance -- Neofinetia.

:hello It would be lovely to have something blooming all the time. Although I do buy some of my orchids for the look of the leaves, after all that is what I am staring at most of the year. :D Sounds like you have a nice selection.

Hello and thanks all. Are there any grow projects currently?

We've not had one since the spring. There could be another in the coming spring. Keep an eye out in this section.
