Redlands 2014 for my birthday!!!
 

Today, my husband asked me if I wanted to go to Redlands for my birthday, which isn't until January! Of course I said yes! I made sure to ask if orchids are included in my gift. :rofl:

I am so excited because I've wanted to go to Redlands forever, plus my husband isn't really a present type of guy, so it's HUGE that he would think this far in advance about my birthday because sometimes I don't even get a card!

We're going to make a family trip out of it and see some Florida sites. We haven't been on a big vacation in five years because we moved to a different state, bought our current house and had our kids in that time. Between the move, kids and the house we just didn't have the funds or time for a trip.

Enjoy it, I heard it is awesome there and must drive there once as well:-)

When the time comes, if you want to send me a list, I'm sure we could figure something out, since your a fellow Michigander!

Thank you!! I've heard it's awesome too. I've also been told to bring cash as many of the vendors don't have machines for plastic.

I like to pay them in cash anyway, if I go to nurseries etc, this way they won't have to pay processing fees and sometimes, when you buy more, they give you nice discount when cash payment is done:-)

Cash is king, as my husband always says!!! :biggrin:

I had known you said it in jest, but I thought I'd put the offer out there because I know how difficult it can be to obtain certain plants living here in Michigan.

Sounds like a great family trip and you get to come with lots of goodies.
