long wanted and long waited for, my first ever Habenaria started to finally open it's blooms. I will for sure take some pics when it is all fully opened, but can't resist to start take them when there is only a few open:-)

I just got it this summer, and this is first spike. So winter will show if I can keep tuber alive and happy. I just do not like the mix it came potted in, some dendro mix of perlite, coil, bark etc, but I got great tip from Eskevingo here and once it is done blooming for the winter rest I will re pot it to PROMIX, which should be great for this plant. Lets hope tuber will make it and will grow again next spring:-)

It totally looks like a dried dandelion to me! I love it :)
