Birthday Vanda Mae Wang?
 

My birthday was yesterday and a couple of my friends gave me orchids as gifts: 3 bulbos, a BLC, and a vanda. The plant has no flowers, but it has obviously done so on many occasions. I found a small tag that said "Mae Wang". I have been unable to find a Google hit for vanda or orchid and Mae Wang. Can anyone shed light on the vanda and the mystery tag?

Vanda Mae Wang is a Thai developed hybrid from a coerulea parent so the flowers will be on the bluer tinge....

The correct name of the orchid plant is:

Vanda Mae Wang 'blue'

it inherited more of the characteristics of the coerulea yet only 4 inches diameter flowers.... it is a sturdy grower and can grow 4 ft tall with lots of long pencil thick roots
