I am wondering if anyone has a dendrochilum pulcherrimum . I'm trying to identify a plant in my collection and wonder if it is a pulcherrimum. Thanks

Actually, after looking some more a cobbianum pics I still think it is a yellow form of cobbianum. Leaves more like cobbianum . Help please. Thanks

I added some photos to compare mystery plant with my magnum. Mystery is the plant with the shorter leaves.

umm while I am not sure I googled pictures and it looks like the dendrochilium....maybe someone with better eyes and experience can help you.

I have a lot of trouble with pictures on the web too. The small details are just often not there, esp. when two or more species have a lot in common. Trey Sanders (Friends of dendrochilum.com) says that many pictures of dendrochilum on the web are mislabeled. He also says that many plants tagged as cobbianum are really other species. Whats a poor girl to do.

not a clue if you ever figure that one out please let me know!!!

I sent photos to Trey and he confirmed my plant is a dendrochilum latifolium var. macranthum. He says they are quite variable. My "magnum" is most likely a latifolium variation also, since a true Magnum in the trade would be very rare.
