Green House Plans For Old Building

On the back of my property is this concrete block building with a nice cement floor....12 ft wide, 30 ft long. We use the building for storage only. Just junk in my opinion (my wife probably thinks otherwise). It needs a new roof......I'm thinking it should be a nice greenhouse roof (my wife will probably think otherwise). If I can convince her to get rid of the "junk" I might have a chance at a decent grow room....it really is a good structure! Just a simple path down the middle with benches on each side and some technologies added. Yes very good me thinks....(my wife will probably think otherwise):(

isnt that a wife duty is to think 'otherwise'. otherwise us men would stay in a lot of trouble ;)

I would have an attack in anticipation of something like that!

Let me throw out something to consider. You might consider turning it into a lighted "grow building", rather than greenhouse. Heating is pretty costly, solid block walls will rally limit the light entry, as you will only get it for a few hours around midday, and electrical lighting gives you a lot more control of the environment.

Heating will not be much of an issue as I live in zone 10b. It will require only a minimal amount of supplemental heating and only for a few days a year. I think airflow and maybe some occasional supplemental lighting. An auto watering/misting system would be nice!
