new bulbos I think I need help
 

I got 2 bulbs the other day a pardalotum and a cocoinum so far I think I'm but I don't know these are my first 2 bulbs I have them in 3" net pots with 1/2 leca and a little less than 1/2 moss for water so far I make sure there at least damp every morning and I make sure they get at least 1500 fc of light and try to keep 50%rh and so I was wondering how they looked and if there was any thing I needed to change add or stop all comments are welcome because I'm in the learning stage and I can use all the help I can get.:bowing

Welcome to Bulbo's lovers. One of my "ORCHID OF CHOICE" group. I can not give you much intel on how to grow them inside in your zone, I am Miami, so my Bulbo's are outside year around. However, just wanted to share how I grow them, they are growing like crazy here for me - I have them either mounted or in plastic/wooden baskets - it seems to work best for me, since I do keep them moist at all times and do not let the potting mix dry at all, but I want to make sure there is good air movement for the roots and water does not stay (which might happen in the pot). My Bulbo's that are not mounted are mostly in the small bark mix, I do hate use sphagnum as a growing medium for anything (IT IS MY OPINION THOUGH, what does not work for me might work for others!!!) Never tried leca for bulbos, but it might work. I do water them pretty much every day or every second day during the summer, mist them in the morning, and little bit less in the winter. Fertilize weakly quite often, I would use maybe the rule weakly weekly. They grow for me like crazy, and they bloom every single year. Just this week, my first bulbo spike surprised me on Longiflorum, it will be first bulbo bloomer for this year, usually they bloom late summer to winter. I have Longiforum, Medusae, Rufinum, Sheryl Kurizaki, Pardolatum, Rosary Beads, Ambrosia, Macranthum, Daerei, Pardatotum, Patens, Smitinandii. The light condition is close to Phal, I would say little bit more though for most of them (between Phal and Cattleya for me works the best). Attached few pics for your imagination.
