Mist King Misting System
 

Has anyone installed the Mist King Misting system? I'd like to hear some reviews! :)

There used to be quite a few people on this board that had them and were very happy. Marty who sells them is our site owner and when he was more active on the forum quite a few people were using them... I guess as you've had no answers that those people are not around the forum so much these days :(

I'm still in contact with one of those people who had one years ago and I believe she's still very happy with it. Hopefully someone else with one will see this soon and be able to give you a proper review.

I believe they have a Facebook page ... might be worth checking that.

hmmm IMO those are made for small tanks and terrariums with frogs in them.Ive looked at them and well wasnt impressed.
If you are looking for a misting system for a greenhouse or a patio you might want to check out Aeromist .

Just an option for you as I really dont know what you need or are looking for or how much you want to spend.
What you want to spend is going to give you a better idea of what you need :biggrin:

I'm not arguing as such because I've not tried them myself... but I know someone who has a rooms size area fitted with them and has been very happy.

Surely the larger MistKing systems with 20 nozzles + must have been made for something larger than tanks and terrariums (unless they're meant for dinosaurs)?

But I take note of your comment and will check out the link (thank you!) since I'm also looking around for a system for a larger greenhouse setup. :)

I've been looking around at misting systems for a few weeks and ultimately did find a Youtube video showing the MistKing system used for a growing area that looked like someone's lanai. I contacted Josh's Frogs and inquired. Got a message back saying that the MistKing system would not work well for my 17 x 8 orchid house. He did say that he would forward my email to Marty and would be hearing from him. I never did.

I live in Central Florida so I don't need the misting system to necessarily create humidity. I need it for evaporative cooling during the hottest parts of the day and plan to have it come on/off at various times during the day for that purpose.
